Activity ideas

• Observe: Explore a park or the school grounds with your class. Observe potential habitats and, if possible, squirrels from a distance.
• Burying seeds: Have suitable native seeds buried in labelled pots. Observe and record which plants grow from them.
• Presenting the results: Create a poster with the children featuring drawings, short informational texts and selected question cards.
