Antelopes

Where do the animals mentioned in the learning pages live?
Activity ideas
- Use Hamsterkiste’s learning cards to create a topic folder about antelopes.
- Cover page: with a title, names and a hand-drawn monkey.
- Fact files: introduce different species of monkeys, including information on their appearance, habitat, diet, offspring and social behaviour.
- Comparison chart: Record the similarities and differences between baboons, gorillas and chimpanzees in a table.
- World map: Mark the regions of origin of the monkeys featured and match them with the correct pictures.
- Vocabulary page: Explain difficult terms such as “omnivore” or “social hierarchy” in your own words and with drawings.
- Children can expand their folder with their own research questions, additional animal profiles, labeled drawings or observations from a visit to the zoo. They can also add a monkey quiz of their own design, complete with answer sheet.
